What happens when you use the calculators

Every calculation runs in your browser. The amounts, dates and prices you enter are never sent to us or stored anywhere.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel processes your IP address and request headers to deliver pages and keeps short-lived server logs for security and reliability. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses in Vercel's data processing agreement. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Vercel Web Analytics

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. Vercel derives a short-lived hash from the request to distinguish visits during a session and discards it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which pages are used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics 4, only with your consent

If you click "Allow analytics" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). It sets cookies, records page views and events such as which calculator you used and which exchange link you clicked, and shares that data with Google, including transfers to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising features are off. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; nothing loads until you consent, and declining changes nothing about how the site works.

Affiliate links

Links to exchanges and wallet makers are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and we may receive a commission if you sign up. We record the click as an anonymous event (exchange, page, placement) so we know which pages send visitors. We never learn who you are or whether you signed up.

Price data

Historical prices are fetched by our own servers from Binance's public market data and stored in the site. No data about you is involved.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Berlin the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. Write to chris@trackhound.co. Since we hold no account data about you, most requests concern Google Analytics, which you can also handle with the Google opt-out add-on.
